IT Security (processes)
A modern company is based on knowledge and on its effective utilization. Knowledge, in its own different way, marked as information, is therefore the key for the company’s successful existence. That’s why its proper usage is very important. Although information usage is frequently associated with information technology, its appropriate protection through a life cycle includes a more complex area, which must be properly managed.
In DCIT, we are aware that information protection is an interdisciplinary branch, which – except for IT – includes other security aspects, too. Information security starts with people, their working practices and procedures. To make it easier, automated steps and information technology are used. One of the other attributes for an appropriate information security setting, which takes an important part in the valuable knowledge protection effort, is also the environmental influence.
In our opinion, the objective of this effort is the possibility to use the acquired knowledge in its complex form and always, when needed. In addition, information is available for privileged access only, regardless of its form of saving, processing or transmission.
To achieve this objective, we offer a range of services, which help to discover possible deficiencies and to propose suitable information security procedures which can be used not only in standard operation regimes, but especially in a crisis situation. We offer experience in effective documenting of acquired knowledge and also approved procedures in information security management.
